Perfect pair of jeans

Good fit, but poor fades
Went to the store to try these on looking for a pre-washed selvedge jean. While the fit and stretch are nice the pre-faded wash just doesn't work the way it is meant to. The fade lines don't line up with the weight or drape of the fabric, meaning they are misaligned with where the jeans actually bend and fold in movement. This gives the wash a very printed on appearance, which cheapens the overall look of the jean. My girlfriend who was with me and does not know or care much about raw denim was even able to tell that something looked 'off' about the whisker fades near the pockets.
