Tapered bottom, balloons at hip and rear
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Eh, disappointed. Wondering if I got the wrong cut. I checked but it says straight leg and the ripped portion at knee is located in the right place and the color is just slightly bluer than on screen. I ordered in my usual size. I’ve seen how this looks on others and in pics on models. On them, it’s the look I’m going for. On me, these certainly do NOT give the same look AT. ALL. These jeans seem to taper in awkwardly at the bottom and has excess fabric at hip and rear. And I typically fill my jeans in those two places. These jeans - so unflattering. Final sale. A bust…I still find it strange that it tapers at bottom and balloons at hip. Mislabeled as straight jeans??? I’ll never know…

New go-to jeans!!!

These jeans are perfect! I have a hard time with this style of Jean. I am 5’4” 145 lbs. My lower half is pretty curvy. These were perfect. High rise and not too tight on my stomach. 100% recommend.

Super flattering and the perfect length!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As always, the quality of Madewell jeans is amazing! I’m around 5’4 and always get the Standard length. The jeans are almost always a little long on me, but this pair was surprisingly the perfect length. They hug me in all the right places, and aren’t too stretchy and not too stiff.

Cute and comfy - but roomy

Definitely a relaxed fit/style. I’ll wear them when I just want a slouchy or comfy look but they probably won’t be my faves.

Runs true to size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these jeans! But I did order a size up based on some reviews and could have gotten a 27 which is my normal size. A size 28 still fits and since they are final sale I will still rock them but there is a ton of gapping at the back. So, anyway, great jeans, but you can order your normal madewell size!
