Smocked Waist Denim Midi Skirt

This is a really cute skirt. It's flattering and flowy and works with a lot of different looks. T-shirts or tanks with sandals in summer or a cropped cashmere sweater and western booties in fall. The drape is excellent, it doesn't cling but it's also not too thick. Just the perfect weight cotton. However. It runs very large. I ordered my normal size medium but had to size down to an XS to get a fit like shown in the pics. I am not sure where that leaves smaller folks, which is why I took one star off my rating. If you can figure out the right size/fit, then it seems like a piece that will be in your closet for many years to come.

No regrets after buying this skirt. It is very comfortable and incredibly versatile. You can make it work with so many things in your wardrobe, tuck them in or not it’s up to you. Also works great with a belt. Some reviewers mentioned they wish it was longer…I’m 5’11” and think the length is just right but I didn’t want it at my ankles. Received compliments first time I wore it and it will be a great piece all summer and into the fall.
