big shoulder
The silk material feels different than what I expected, it’s stiff. That creates a problem for the ruffle look in the shoulder area, not a good look for me but it could work for someone with a narrow shoulder. I also think it would look better on a taller person, which I’m not

Thin material, strange cut, sleeves run small
This blouse runs true to size if you go with your true size and not your Madewell vanity size. The exception is that the sleeves are cut a little tighter/narrower than the rest of the garment. I felt this blouse had too much going on with the ruffle sleeves and thought it would look better in a more simple style to balance the pattern. The ultimate deal breaker however was how thin the silk is. It reminded me of a fast fashion silk blouse I had years ago. I wore it constantly and washed it by hand/line dried, and it still eventually began to come apart at the seams. Buy this on sale or you'll be disappointed in the quality for the price.

Gorgeous silk top
I ordered this top in size medium (my usual size at Madewell), the shirt is very soft and beautifully made. I did get it on sale but would pay full price for the quality etc. Highly recommend.

Great mixing piece for hot summer days
This is a looser fit looser fit than I generally wear but the cut and design make it perfect for summer. It can be dressed up or dressed down. A versatile addition to my summer wardrobe.
