great color but size up!!!
I love my roadtrippers but I’ve been looking for a darker color version so these were just the ticket. The actual color is not black but very dark denim, which I really like. However, I’m confused why these are labeled high rise when the tag on the actual jeans say 9 inches, which usually Madewell and most other companies describe as mid-rise. Also, I’m not sure why but the sizing is waaaaay off from all my other roadtripper pairs. For reference, I am 5’4 and 130 lbs and I normally run 25 or 26 for madewell roadtrippers. In this pair, I’m a 28. Other than the odd sizing and labeling, the feel of these is buttery smooth so definitely keeping but wish madewell was more consistent with their sizing!

They fit me well; I'm usually a 31 at Madewell, and that holds true with these. I like the look of them. They're my go-to jeans to wear to the office
