Big & thin material
I’m 5’5” & 27” waist. Never have fit into a size 26 w my current measurements but sized down to 26 based on reviews.
Even then, it’s definitely big. There was a gap at the waist. Length was around mid thigh, maybe a cm or two longer. I’m going to try to see if the dryer might shrink it.
Quality is okay, material is pretty thin - thin enough to have the fold marks from shipping. More flimsy than expected from the name of “rigid denim” . But it means it’s also comfortable imo.
For $88 not worth but maybe worth if on sale and you size down.

Runs large.. but I love it!!
I love this skirt, but the size is way off…I normally wear 28 But purchased 26 and the skirt fits perfect.

Perfect fit, versatile styling!
I bought my usual size in Madewell bottoms (5'4, 130lb, wide hips and big thighs, size 27) and am so happy with how it fits! It stays put without being too rigid, and goes great with t shirts and sweatshirts as well as blouses and trendy tanks. If it came in other washes I would 100% buy them. My only qualm is that the zipper at the top may be pulled down a bit too easily if I stand up and it gets caught on something, but I haven't had any issues yet. Looking forward to styling this with tights and boots when it gets colder out.

Fun Mini Skirt!
This is such a fun take on a denim mini skirt! I had been looking for a black denim skirt for some time and I saw this one and the sale price and went for it! I saw some reviews said it runs big but having just had a baby a few months ago, I went with my regular Madewell size and it fits comfortably. Slightly bigger in the waist but I wouldn’t have wanted to size down. Very happy with this and love that I can wear it into all seasons! If you’re questioning it, get it! I recently saw it was still regular price at another retailer so get it here on sale before it’s gone!!

Very flattering
I have another skirt from Madewell that is size 27 so I ordered this one in the same size. It fit but a little too snug for my comfort and it does not feel very stretchy. I'm sure if I ate something it would be very uncomfortable! I have placed an order for the next size up and I hope that one fits perfect. For reference, I am 5' 3" about 140lbs, hips are ~39" waist is ~23".
