Not true to size at all
Is this a joke or what?? I ordered the exact same shorts in 3 different wash in size 24 for all three but just look at the size inconsistency. This is very frustrating in terms of size picking not to mention they are just in different wash.

I love madwell shorts, they’re durable but do not lose their shape. They’re the best. They run a little big, so maybe size down by one size? I typically size up on shorts, but I’m wearing the same size thay I do in normal jeans

Uncomfortable
I love Madewell jeans and was really hoping to love these but they are so uncomfortable. They fit fine and are actually a little big but when sitting they are so stiff and I couldn't wait to take them off when I got home.

love these shorts!
I’m so confused about the poor reviews. I think these are so cute & comfy. I have 2 pairs of Madewell jeans in a 26 so I ordered a 26 & also a 27 just based on reviews. I’m not curvy at all, 5’3, 130#, athletic/narrow build. I have Levi’s shorts I love but wanted a looser, more relaxed fit. The 26 fit me perfectly, and the 27 were def loose in the waist but gave me the overall look I wanted. Honestly, I’m prob keeping both!
