Pintuck Ruffle Puff Sleeve Top

I was ecstatic when I received this top! The blue color is vibrant, airy material and overall beautiful fit for my curvy body. Washed the top BY ITSELF in cold delicate cycle and hung to dry. Wore it with my Madewell white crop jeans and felt easy beautiful. Sitting at my desk, I look down and there’s a huge frayed hold at one of the buttons! ALREADY this $98 top has a hole and I have gone to great lengths to gently care for this top. Returned and considering repurchasing it, but what if it happens again? Disappointed.

I liked the look of this top and the fact that the material is lightweight for warm weather. I got my usual size XS and it fit without looking boxy or frumpy. The white material is very sheer. The combination of eyelet, lace trim, and pintucks were just too much detailing for me. The details might be more subtle on a darker color and the sheerness might not be a factor either, so I’d suggest this top in black or red if you want to play down the busy-ness and have more coverage.

This is a perfect summer blouse - lightweight, flowy, and so flattering. I purchased this one and a similar blouse by DOEN and kept this one. It is sheer, but not as sheer as the other one. I will need a cami under if I wear it for work, but maybe not if I wear it out and about. I also like the length of this one much better. I sized up based on the other reviews and actually could have gone with my typical size but this will work.
