Modular Pull-On Cotton Gingham Two-Piece Dress Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant in getting this dress because the reviews were mixed. But went ahead and purchased it when it was on sale. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the top and skirt are attached. The skirt is lined and the top shows just enough skin to make interesting. It's lightweight and will be perfect for the summer. I'm 5'2" so the skirt hits me near my ankle or slightly above. I will have this dress for many seasons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this, but I found if you have a larger chest the top is not flattering. It kind of reads prairie tent dress and not in a chic way. The back actually was mad cute on me but the front was just not. I debated keeping it for the skirt but ultimately it's just kind of a cheap standard gathered skirt. It is lined and I liked the print. Quality I would say it's worth the sale price, maybe not the full price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is my favorite Madewell purchase I've ever made. No only was it on sale, but I was very surprised I liked it so much. As someone with natural curves I thought that the straightness of the skirt might bring out some lumps and bumps but it's just the opposite. The button feature is slimming and accents my waist. The versatility of the shirt and the skirt is another plus. I can wear the shirt as a V-neck or scoop neck. Being able to seperate the two is great, the skirt goes with many items as well as the top - great way to change up the look. I just bought the other color as well - at full price eek bc. I love it so much.
