Lace Bralette

This is a very pretty and delicate bralette. I purchased the Smokey Rose and Steel colors after trying them on in store. The online colors appear very close to how they look in person. However, they run extremely small. For reference, I am a 5'5", 118 lbs and 32C/34B and I bought Large. Most other bralettes I own are size Small. The band for the Small was so tiny that I couldn't breathe. I probably could have gotten away with the medium, but the band was still uncomfortably tight The large is very comfortable. The cup sizes are similar between the medium and large but the band makes a huge difference. They are not extremely sheer, but don't entirely hide your nipples either. Also, they don't offer much support, so I don't recommend buying if you are larger than a C cup.

I got this bralette in tungsten and I immediately went back and got it in black too! This is awesome for comfy/casual tees that are slouchy and off-the-shoulder. I'm a 30D and the medium fits perfectly. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to not wear a sports bra, but doesn't like the feeling of a real bra.

I give it three stars for the color and style. I took two away for the sizing. Madewell is very off on their bras. I bought a medium as per sizing guidelines (34C) and the cups fit just fine, but they are way too tight around the bust. I could barely close the clasp! I cannot size up- Madewell increases the cup size the larger the bra.
