Cheap and ill fitting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these a few weeks ago, and had to hem them as I’m 5’2”, but the feel of the material out of the box was cheap and thin, not the way a good cord should be. They’re absolutely not barrel shaped in any way and since they’re a mid rise, they don’t look right through the crotch area because a barrel really should be high rise. Not even close to the fit of the model. There are so many great versions of this pant out there, this is really sad quality for madewell.

Good fit and color
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At 5’4”, with a curvy bottom, large whale corduroy does me no favors. So these small whale corduroy pants were exactly what I was looking for. They fit me well, and I like the color. A perfect pair of pants would have a slightly higher waist to balance the wide leg. And for winter wear I’d prefer a heavier weight material.

Just ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t love the fit on me, and I wish they were a 31 inseam. It’s slightly too short even if I want to wear flats with how it looks on the hips in contrast to bottom silhouette and ratio. May look amazing on others.

Softest corduroy

Balloon Pant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never even considered buying these pants...because of the name, balloon. But, I was in a Madewell store and decided to try them on. Very surprised. Comfortable and flattering. Look super cute with a square toe ballet flat.
