highland green Madewell dress
Love the dress. Lines are tailored and look particularly great on a long lean person. Have ordered several Madewell items, all of which I like. but they cut really small. I've had to return and order up one size on all of the things I've received from them. But if you know that about sizing, the clothes have a cool, sophisticated look.

Not even close
Madewell clothes seem to be all over the map when it comes to fit. The issue with this dress wasn't as much about size as it was shape. I am a 34F, and couldnt even come close to pulling this dress over my girls even though I had sized up. There are no darts, no shape. The dress is about as straight as it can be... and absolutely no stretch.
And honestly, I wasnt impressed with the look of the fabric in person. Just looked cheap.

This was way cuter on the model. It just looked like a sack on me and was not the least bit flattering or cute. Returned.

Great dress!
I am 5'2" 120 lbs and purchased this dress in a small. It fits perfectly! I love the color, fit, and comfort of this dress! The length of the dress hits a few inches above my knee, very modest and appropriate. Easily can be worn to a causal workplace or just to go out and about in. By far one of my favorites! The price is a little high, but I have definitely gotten enough wearing out of it that it was well worth it! The dress washes great. I would recommend hang drying rather than using the washing machine.

Great shirtdress
Soft & perfect weight which makes it fall nicely & not billow out. I'm 5'7, 140# and the small fit for me. As another reviewer stated, it does cut up on the sides but theres a bit of material closing the gap it would have made so it didn't make it too short. Very cute dress & great fall color.
