Flare Jeans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these in tall, since so often denim from Madewell runs a hair too short. Well these are VERY long. Excellent if you’re over 5’11”, but since I’m 5’9.5” and these were final sale, I’ll be getting them hemmed (there’s a first time for everything!). Other than length, they look just like the photos (light wash) and are comfy, with that firm hold-you-in feeling other vintage style Madewell jeans have. The quality seems great too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these in a 29 Tall. I have a 34" inseam and i usually wear a 29 in the Bouvier wash. I am 5'11". I am blown away by the fit and the wash. The model on the site shows them sort of tightening around the thigh and then flaring out, but I found these to be a little more of a gradual flare which is more flattering. They fit very similarly to a vintage pair of orange tab 646 levis but with a little less flare and more stretch. The length is perfection and the rise covers the whole belly which is very flattering. My only concern is that they fit perfectly out of the box but with the stretch in the fabric they may stretch out with wear. I just purchased a 28 Tall so we will see if those fit a little tighter. I have never had much of a behind, but these actually make my butt look good! Seriously the holy grail for tall flat bottomed girls who want a 70s vibe.
