Easy Stretch Corduroy Button-Up Shirt

Bought this with a Christmas gift card from my daughter. There's no Madewell store near where I live, but I visited the store while visiting relatives. Tried on a few things that I had seen on the MW website and walked out with this shirt. It's an unusual shirt - it's a very wide-wale corduroy, and heavier weight than most corduroys fabrics. It's also cut fairly large, so I can wear it as an overshirt, but can still wear it tucked in, as well. The fabric is very luxurious, and the blue color is somewhere between inky and bright. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thick and substantial but breathable and light at the same time. Good for winter layer or summer on its own at the same time (I don't totally understand it). Comfortable with a nice rich blue color that almost has a silvery look to it at times thanks to the corduroy width. Slightly larger though I'm comfortable with the sizing as a medium, the sleeves are just a little long which seems intentional. I'm happy they made something like this that's a callback to the 70s without looking dated or too casual.
