Beautiful Cumin Color, Dislike the Texture
Big Madewell jeans fan here. This was the first sweater I purchased from them though, and I'm definitely disappointed.
First off the color is stunning. I've been on the hunt for a warm brown neutral to add to my wardrobe. The cumin color is everything that I've been looking for.
But I'm afraid this still isn't the one. It's scratchy, though not uncomfortable (I wore it for a good 30 minutes and was fine with the texture). The photo made me think it would not be as textured-looking--it definitely looks like a wool piece, which is not an aesthetic I'm against but I wanted something a bit more refined for my work. Plus, if you have pets, this sweater will likely be a nightmare for you. Also, as a dry clean only item, I'm not sure how I feel about spending this much on something that is still mostly synthetic that requires dry cleaning. I will be returning.
TLDR: Cute color, but texture and upkeep will be too much. If the fabric and care labor were better, I would definitely keep.
