nice fit, good for petites, maybe too stretchy
The fit on the zoo is very nice, true to my regular size, and the inseam is perfect as a full-length pant for me as a petite. Although I have mostly been doing high-rise lately, and these are technically mid rise, they hit at the absolute perfect spot on my torso.
The part I don’t like is that the mid-weight fabric is 21% polyester and 2% elastane. Am I the only one who still thinks jeans are better when they’re all cotton? These are stretchy enough to move in really easily, which may be a plus for other people.

Great fit, so comfortable
These are the perfect kick out jeans and have worn so well. The waist is just high enough, the stretch is comfortable for even long car trips and they keep their color through many washes. I've worn them all summer and couldn't be happier. I wear a smaller size in Madewell than other brands (about two to three smaller), so size accordingly. I'm 5'9" and they hit just above my ankles.

slight problem
I bought these jeans in may of this year and I loved them so much they are so stretchy and so comfy (I would size down fyi because of the stretch) HOWEVER three weeks or so after buying them I saw there was a hole in the seam the size of a quarter!!! this was only after washing them maybe two or three times on gentle cycle??? I returned them of course because these are madewell jeans they are supposed to stand the test of time!!! It didn’t make sense because I have the same pair in a different wash from the madewell store and I have had no issue. Benefit of the doubt I got a bad pair so I’m going to repurchase to see if I have the same issue and will update y’all! Xx

Comfy jeans
These fit great and are super comfortable! I got a 30. They have quite a bit of stretch so I am glad I leaned towards a smaller size I’m usually in between 30/31 two(size down). The color is a bit darker than pictured and the inside tag says kick out jeans so I don’t know if they are the exact same ones as in the photo but they are flattering, have some tummy control and a cute little flair at the bottom. I am short, 5‘4“ tall and
I carry most my way in my chest and stomach. These feel good and hit me at the ankle. For the price, get them!!!
Fabric does have a slight odor to it which I’m hoping will dissipate overtime.
