Button Front Tiered Midi Dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a curvy woman, I don't need extra fabric around my waist and thighs, this dress is super cute but it makes my hips looks bigger - yes its a plus there are pockets but they tend to bulk up the dress. I will be keeping as I still love it and got on sale. Thick enough I don't need to wear a bra and comfortable. Great length.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Welp. I should've listened to the reviews. They all said it would be tight in the bust. I purchased the size that should have fit perfectly (14W), based off the sizing measurements and sizes I usually tend to wear in Madewell (14W, 32, XL, XXL- 245lbs, 5'8", for reference), and of course it was tight in the bust. The buttons gape a bit, the straps seem slightly long, and the lining shows through the dress quite a bit (bought the eyelet white color). Should have gone up to a 16W. Anyhoo. The dress, itself, is just okay/fine. There are some threads sticking out here & there, so not quite Madewell's usual quality. In its defense, it's super wrinkled from its journey to me, so maybe it will look a little better after a good ironing or steaming. It just kind of looks a bit on the cheap side, at the moment. Bought it on sale, but still not worth it. Especially bummed because I hadn't realized it was a final sale item (because it's a fairly new release!), so can't return as I had hoped.
