It's rare to see thick, sturdy fabric used to make something like this anymore. It feels like something I would have bought as a kid before companies started cheaping out. I hope they bring them back because I wanted the dark green and black ones as well.

Not madewell quality
This product does not meet made well standard that I’ve come to love. Unfortunately I couldn’t return it because it was clearance item and maybe that explains it. Too buggy at the torso. And the hands are short.

Nearly perfect fit - right out of the package
Finding a sweatshirt that fits isn't hard. Finding one that fits well is much more difficult. This one is well proportioned. The sleeves aren't too long, the midsection isn't too blousy or overly fitted, and the torso doesn't drape down to your knees. The light, reddish hue in the Still Gray color helps the shirt stand apart from your run-of-the-mill colorways.

Not just “Madewell” for him
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this crewneck sweatshirt for myself even though it was designed for him. Love how soft and basic it is. Such a great color. Love the camouflage look but wanted it a little bit more updated.
