10-Inch High Waist Skinny Jeans

I’ve been searching for several years for the right pair of white jeans and have tried the gamut from $20-$185 jeans, finding none to be satisfactory. They’re always too thin or unforgiving. These from Madewell are great. You should to wear nude panties, but they are thick enough to feel like you are well covered, fit nicely through the hips and legs as well as at the waist (I have a small waist with thicker hips, bottom and thighs), and are a nice length, though I may hem 1-2” as I prefer my white jeans cropped at the ankle. I am 5’4” 130lbs and bought a 27. Usually wear a 26. These jeans are a true white.

Based on other reviews, I imagined the denim to be of a more substantial weight. While they are certainly comfortable and do allow for liberal movement, I really wanted slightly less stretch and a mid weight denim on the higher end. I found the bunching at the knees and below the derriere to be unflattering. Perhaps in a darker denim this would be less prominent. Also, I have seen more flattering back pocket size and placement, such as some of J Crew's Toothpick line (not the white, unfortunately). I wear a size 24 and these jeans fit true to size, especially if you plan for some stretch over time. I returned these immediately and will keep looking.

Recommend sizing up as these run smaller than the standard 10" high waist skinny jeans from Madewell. These didn't work for me in white, but the 10" high rise jeans from Madewell are my current go-to for daily wear. I wish these ran true to their regular sizing. They're not see-through and have a good amount of stretch.

Madewell did again and keep doing it. They have the best fitting jeans, these do not disappoint. No see through, does sit to tight with just amount stretch. In addition, I got 25% off in March. Love their jean. This is a definite buy for the summer, spring, or fall, or winter (they say we can wear white all year around now).

These are easily the best white jeans I’ve ever tried on. I usually wear a 25/26 in Madewell (I’m 5’8 and my weight fluctuates between 120 and 125. The size 26 fits like a glove without being too tight. The material is substantial and there is minimum see through the seat of these jeans, and the full length is perfect for me being on the taller side.
