Should have listened to the reviews to size down. I am always a 29 in Madewell and couldn't believe how I could possibly be a 28, well I was wrong. They were very big on me. For reference I am 5'7" 157. Hoping that the size 28 will be restocked!

Thigh tear in less than 4 months! Let down.
I loved the style of these jeans - the buttons and the frayed ends. However after wearing them for less than 4 months (every couple weeks) I was devastated when they tore between the thighs. I also never splurge on “good quality jeans” so this $135 purchase was a definite let down.

too short this time
I have other pairs of Madewell I like, always size down, but this pair seemed shorter in inseam and the seam down the side of the leg was too light in color they gave me an 80s vibe in this wash. Returned.

Run big!
These run big-had to return for smaller size! I am anywhere between a 14-16 in pants. The 35 was way big in this style. However they are super cute

Great Jeans!
Love Madewell Jeans! The ankles are a little big but I have small ankles. I'll need to get them tailored. The material is a little stretchy so I wished I would have sized down one.

Madewell denim=heaven
Absolutely LOVE these jeans. So cute and so comfortable. I am normally a 24 in brands such as AG and I got 24 in these. I tried a 23 and they fit but were uncomfortably tight. So I kept 24. They were perfect. So I would honestly say these fit true to size even though it says it runs large. Buy them!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!!!!
