Maddox Ballet Flat

This shoe is exactly what I was looking for!! The perfect color and the perfect size. I’ve tried on so many different brands and non fit right. Love love love the color!!

There isn't a way to indicate that this shoe is just a little loose -- for this material and type, I expected the shoe to be tight when received and then have to ease a bit. Not the case -- I slipped right in and it doesn't pinch anywhere. This is a graceful flat shoe. It has no support and the sole is dead flat, so I don't think its the right shoe for being on your feet all day every day. The line at the toe is flattering, and the leather is very soft and easy to wear. I may buy another pair of these.

I got these in the Brown Caffe Suede and they are so nice looking in person. I feel like they are very TTS in length but the width is a bit wider than expected. To the point that they do gap out on the sides with movement. For reference, my feet are very true medium, if you have a narrower foot, you may have even more gapping at the sides. Not sure if I am going to keep these. They are comfortable but I am worried that once I actually wear them, they will stretch out so much that I may walk out of them with each step. I don't think it's an issue of just sizing down since they are true to length and it's more about the sides being wider.

I am typically a size 8 and have slightly wider feet. Because of the mixed comments about sizing, I tried both 7.5 and 8. The shoes have a nice soft leather and cushioned sole for ballet flats, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. I liked them but the fit of the shoes were odd on the outer sides of each foot and left a large gap between the shoes and my foot (left side for the left shoe and right side for the right shoe). Between the two sizes, I would have picked size 8 for overall comfort; it was a bit more roomy than I would typically wear but still fit and would not fall off. Size 7.5 was just a bit snug in certain spots so I would opt for more room. However, the gap on the outer edges in size 8 were significant. The gap was smaller in size 7.5 and looked more normal but that was not a good size for me otherwise. From a side profile, they both looked normal but I didn’t like seeing the gap from above. The photos may not seem like the gap is very different but it was very noticeable in person for size 8. One additional note is that the shoe boxes were both in mediocre / bad shape (a bit beat up and had stains) if that’s something important to you. Given the price point (I purchased on discount), I didn’t think that was a big deal.

I purchased the brown suede and the black leather! They tun large. I went down 2 sizes. I normally wear a 6.5; i bought 5.5. They are classic and very comfortable. I highly recommend this shoe. The leather is soft and the suede is lush!

I saw these in-store and immediately had to try them on because they’re so simple, soft, and chic. Thank goodness they fit perfectly. They do run a tad large though, so I got a size 7 after trying on my usual 7.5- 8 sizes. Love how comfortable they are — footbed is surprisingly cushy. I like them even more than my Quince and Chloe flats.
