I really wanted these sandals

I recently purchased these for an upcoming trip. Shipping time was reasonable, and the packaging could have been a little better. The sandals are beautiful! The color is as advertised! They would have been the perfect addition to my wardrobe. I normally wear a 9, and I bought a 9. My foot is too narrow. The straps never touched the top of my foot, which allowed for my foot to slide thru. My toes were almost hanging off the front. Such a disappointment!! I’m wondering if I bought an 8 1/2, would I have the same problem? Deciding…
