Kamila Wool Coat

I’m 5’4” so I knew this coat would be long, but it was just an awkward length for my height. The bottom of the coat hit around mid calf, and the zipper fell close to my knee, making it difficult to close. Also, the zipper kept getting stuck, which is unacceptable for a coat at this price point. Beautiful coat, I love the leather details. I bet it would be beautiful on someone 5’8” or taller. I am a 34C/D and got a medium, which fit well, especially with the belt to tighten around the waist. I may have been able to get a small, but that would not have fixed the length problem, and may have been too tight around the shoulders

It is beautiful coat with obvious quality. I purchased it in black and the leather details do still stand out. They are a nice addition, making this much more interesting and keeping it from being just another black wool coat. The wool is super soft and heavy so it should provide warmth for cold winter days, although I did not wear it in cold weather to know for sure. Unfortunately, it did not look good on me. The length fell mid calf which is not flattering and the sleeve length was way too long. I have one other Mackage coat in XS and it fits perfectly. (I did have to shorten the sleeves though.) I ordered this in the same size and I found it overall too large. I did not have the tailored look that it has on the model. The shoulders were too large and a lot of extra bulk at the waist, which makes the belt look awkward. I’m 5’2” and 110 pounds for reference.
