Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Liquid Foundation

I had owned this product for a while and really liked it but it had a few drawbacks which had kept it from being my number 1. On one hand, it's so light and comfortable while giving me good coverage and spf. Love all that but the best part is that it makes my 35 year old skin look about 10 years younger! It glides over pores and wrinkles and makes you look so youthful and hydrated. However it did not last long and made me pretty shiny after a few hours which I didn't like. I went into Mac and was going to buy the studio fix powder to set it with, thinking that the powder would help take the shine down and make it last longer. The sales girl instead gave me a sample of the natural radiance primer in yellow to try! This did the trick, controlled my oil so well so my waterweight lasted longer and I didn't look greasy! In love with this combo! If you are 35 or older, get this, you will be so pleasantly surprised to realize you don't need thick cakey makeup!

I really like this foundation. Very rich and pigmented a little goes a long way! Start with 1 drop. Its very fluid and blends effortlessly. It does dry quickly so work in small sections. I like sheer coverage so i only put on 1 layer but i don't think building will be an issue. Its very light weight and feels like nothing. The coverage is so flawless it almost looks airbrushed. I have dry skin, fine lines under my eyes, slightly oily on my nose and around, large pores on my nose and cheeks. this did not accentuate any dry patches or lines and blured and filled in my pores. I put this on my bare face with no primer. It dried to a soft demi-matte finish but didn't look flat. It is long wearing even in hot humid weather. the other foundation the waterproof one it performs similar where if you perspire it turns it into little beads that you can easily blot off. I would say color wise it's similar to everything else. I use nw30 in the waterproof but in this foundation the pink beige tones are way too strong so I actually have to use nc30. I'm neutral leaning pink so i can wear both. I definitely cannot use anything with extremely strong yellow. I would say nc30 is neutral. I think two layers of this would easily cover blemishes. I have a beauty mark on my face that was covered with one layer. I have no complaints and really enjoy this foundation and the way it makes my skin look.

My skin is normal to oily/combination. I wear NC25 (also Urban Decay naked concealer in medium light neutral where needed). I've been using this a couple weeks now. Unlike the first reviewer, I don't find it heavy at all. It melts into my skin and looks natural. It doesn't oxidize or turn orange over the day, nor does it dry out or make my skin oily. I apply a moisturizer or my sunscreen first and then put a few drops of foundation in my palm. I rub my palms together and then press into my skin. I use my fingers to blend any smaller areas that need it. I love that it doesn't come off or transfer. Lasts all day until evening when I sometimes see it's starting to disappear on my chin. I powder lightly over top with Lancôme dual finish in 205 neutrale II (W).

Better than most lightweight foundations and priced significantly lower! This provides a sheer to medium coverage with a natural finish. More importantly, this foundation is wrinkle-friendly -- does not accentuate wrinkles, creases, or pores. Though not moisturizing, it fairs well on any dry patches. Minimal fragrance is a huge plus. Overall, this is perfect for skin with textural challenges and extremely economical.

I did not realize at first that this is five stars better than Chanel water lumier or any tinted moisutrizer not only for its sheer but long - lasting consistency but also its ability to blend into your perfect time. Since I used to wear nc43 studio fix, I am an nc30 in this blend, and my dry dull skin is transformed into one that is dewy and radiant all day. I am not yellow, pink, or a shade too light. It's just perfect - better than a tinted moisturizer since it last all day, but sheer like a tinted moisutrizer in that your skin tone looks very natural. Surprised and relieved that I have finally found it.

Mac never lets me down. I have high expectations when I purchase a foundation, mostly because I don't wear a powder or any setting powder to keep my make-up in place. My foundation has to be good for a slight cover for the grocery store, just in case Mr. Right happens to show up I better look good enough with that quick slap of Mac Studio Water Weight foundation. And I'm certainly going to wow him tonight at the party when I layer my MAC Studio make-up because it absolutely glows once you add a second or even third layer. Yep, I've finally found my make-up
