What it does: An innovative gel-based system provides outstanding skin feel and medium-to-full buildable coverage with a natural satin finish. This foundation contains micronized silicone-coated pigments to improve skin adherence and blendability while helping to maintain color purity. It is water-resistant and offers broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection with SPF 15.

Foundation and Powder
The only makeup I will ever purchase is MAC. I am 63 years old and the foundation that I use hides all dark spots and any uneven skin tones. I use the powder in the exact same color over the liquid foundation and my skin looks flawless. As I have gotten older the foundation and powder color has changed but the experts at Nordstroms have helped me make any corrections.
The other day waiting to check out at a store a lady stopped me to ask what makeup I use, so thank you MAC.

Streaks a lot!
This product is sold and promoted with a brush however it is very goopy and in all actuallity needs to be put on with a sponge. It develops an odd smell as well after about 2 months.

color and texture very nice, but didn't work for my "mature" skin: sank into pores and lines pretty quickly even with primer and setting spray.

I am a believer now!! After trying on the shade Nc30 I was 100% convinced this product was a great match - no orange or yellow tint like other foundations. I have VERY dry skin around my nose and chin that often leaves visible dry patches, skin peeling, all the above including some redness on my cheeks and nose, and slight oily skin between my eyebrows. To achieve this smooth matte look I do need to prep my skin with the mineral charged water gel & prep+prime moisture infusion serum hydratant underneath the foundation. With no concealer, this product provides medium to full coverage, no more redness, dry patches or visible skin peeling on the nose. Blends evenly on skin leaving skin looking VERY smooth. My friend and sister both noticed the difference immediately and complimented me on the smooth matte natural look. I am SO happy the makeup artist in this dept introduced me to these amazing products.

Great for my Normal~Dry skin
I asked the MAC artist to recommend a foundation for over 40, normal~dry skin, that wouldn't settle into/exaggerate fine lines. She put this one on me, and I was sold! Very natural finish, but with good coverage. I also bought the prep and prime to put under this foundation, and wow...9 hours later, still looked fresh. I'm impressed!

5 stars! I just love this makeup. Using a MAC foundation brush, I am able to make it as light or as heavy as I'd like. A little goes a LONG way. I usually only have to purchase this once a year. In addition, it matches my skin tone perfectly. I highly recommend stopping into your local MAC store or Nordstrom to get help from the makeup artists to ensure a perfect color match. It has a pleasant smell, is buildable, has spf 15, makes your skin look hydrated/moisturized (but is not too oily or greasy), etc. I mean what more can you want? I have oily, but sometimes dry skin, sometimes acne prone, sometimes not. My skin is all over the board...and this is the first makeup that has not given me any problems. --No issues with breakouts, no allergic reactions, no funny medicinal smell, and so on. Just perfect! :)
