Pro Longwear Concealer

While I very much like the concealer itself, I'll not be reordering this product. First, the amount -- .30 oz. -- is pretty small for the price. But what I especially dislike is the pump function. There's no way to regulate the amount of fluid that it dispenses and I end up with way more concealer than I actually need. For me, it's just too wasteful. I hope that MAC eventually remedies this as the coverage is great, the look is nice, and it doesn't aggravate my super sensitive skin.

I absolutely love this concealer! It goes on smooth and covers very well. I am an african american female with darker skin. My skin color is about the same a Gabriel Union's (the actress#. I have a few feckles and moles above my cheek bones on both sides of my face. I only need to apple a small amount and it covers perfectly and lasts all day long. #I normally put in on before work so I have it on for atleast 9 hours.) I wear a BB cream on my face and then apply this concealer to the affected areas. I love this concealer, it matches perfectly and I could probably even wear it alone it I had to. I hope this is helpful to someone.

This very matte, full coverage concealer works on just about anything I could want to conceal - dark circles (occasional), redness around my nose (permanent), and even the odd acne mark (rare - thankfully). I even managed to conceal a small patch of very dark pigmentation on my cheek, that once appeared out of nowhere, whilst applying topical products and waiting for it to fade. No matter what I chose to cover, the coverage is excellent. I only need to apply a very small amount with my fingers, and then usually follow with a small brush, or sometimes fingers alone can do the trick, depending on the exact area I'm concealing. My skin type is oily/combination and this glides on like a dream and never looks cakey, unless I apply too much. If you have combination to oily skin I would suggest to give this a try. I'm not too sure how dry skin types would fare with this, as it's quite a matte formulation. Admittedly I do now use this less often than I used to, since discovering I'm allergic to silicones, and this contains plenty of them! So I alternate with MAC's Studio Finish as it doesn't contain any, and usually leave Pro Longwear for the weekends and special occasions, which is when it also becomes invaluable for contouring - something I don't find time to do regularly. Both concealers last the whole day on me, with Longwear remaining the most matte, whereas Studio Finish tends to allow oiliness from my skin to break through much sooner. I really like the coverage and it seemed pretty light weight, but I had to return it. The formula is very liquid-y and it covered my dark circles better then anything I tried, but it has this weird drying effect. You will notice it if you take too long to apply it. It will dry on your finger. After I was done with my makeup I noticed tons of tiny wrinkles that had never been there before. On my skin it was like it fell into every single tiny crack their was and exaggerated it. Had to return, I don't need help looking older! A+ for coverage, F- for drying effect

This is the best concealer on the market bar none! I have allergies, dark circles and I am over 50. I have tried every concealer on the market from Sisley to Chanel to Bobbi Brown to CoverGirl and MAC Pro Longwear works the best...it stays on all day, dosen't get in the creases, it's not greasy and I love it. Would recommend to all!
