What it does: A lightweight pen-style highlighter that efficiently brings a soft, sheer wash of colour to the skin. With its precision application, it adds radiance just where you want it. Goes on smoothly for cushion-soft wear without drying your skin. Use over makeup for highlights, touch-ups or under makeup to brighten and prime to add subtle luminosity. The lightweight, long-wearing and nondrying formula provides instant radiance.
How to use: Apply the highlighter directly with the brush-tip applicator to high planes of the face over bare moisturized skin or on top of concealer/foundation. Focus highlighter on high planes of the face. Blend well with fingertips.

I purchased the Radiant Rose version. I purchased this as more of an under eye concealer. I have tried lots of highlighters and concealers. From higher end (Bobbi Brown, Cle de Peau, and most of what Sephora has to offer, really), and I have also tried a few drugstore brands. I was previously using Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind highlighter. (The one that looks like a bingo dabber.) I have been using this product for about a week and I think it is my favorite of all highlighters (and actual concealers). I use it under my eyes, but it could be used for other highlighting purposes. I have very fair Caucasian skin and blue eyes. It's not a miracle OMGAH product, but it's a good item to help my under eye area. I am happy with the purchase and tempted to try the other colors.

Why the hype?
Thin watery and light coverage at best. There are so many better under eye concealers. If you are just wanting a subtle brightening then this for you, if you want a true concealer this is not it.

PREP+PRIME
FABULOUS...I AM 71 AND HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR AN UNDEREYE COVERUP FOR YEARS. MY DAUGHTER NOTICED A DIFFERENCE IMMEDIATELY. I AM EXCITED EVERYDAY TO GO OUT AND MEET THE PUBLIC.

good and bad
this pen is good because it makes you look AWAKE however it is very DRYING to the skin...almost like putting corn starch on your face....i use this under my eyes and it looks great but it makes them parched....i put pure eucerin on them and apply this pen and they still end up dry by the end of the day
the pen is nice but in the long run who wants under their eyes to be that dry? that is the main cause of under eye wrinkling....mac should add moisture to the product

Move over YSL and Dior Skinflash...
This is a truly pigmented highlighter that is a good balance between concealer and highlighting pen. I've tried YSL and heard wonders but thought it would conceal just a tad more...it's too thin. This MAC highlighter conceals, primes, and highlights, all at same time in one nifty pen. A little goes a long way so beware and also give it a moment to set after you blend. You will not be unhappy. I'm NC40 and NC42 in summer and got the Bright Forecast. Loves it!

Best ever!
This is the best highlighter and under eye concealer I've ever used. I had my makeup done for a white tie event and I fell in love with it.
Brightens without adding age lines like a lot of other concealers.

Great Product!
I have gone through 4 pens and I don't think I could go without! I have pretty dark under eye circles and have used this both under and over the prolongwear concealer( I am an NW30). I have tried all 3 shades and I found Bright Forecast to be the most complimentary shade for my skin tone. It has a good mix of peach and yellow to highlight. I apply it directly from the pen and wait a couple minutes before blending it with a damp BeautyBlender. Love it!
