Light plus is luminous
I got a "juicy" sized sample that lasted almost 2 weeks. The sales rep recommended that I use "light plus" for my honey colored skin (black hair, brown eyes). Great lumosity, smooth texture and it seems that my skin has gotten smoother over the last 2 weeks.
The application method is not easy - you need to pat the product on; you can't spread it like a normal moisturizer because it clumps up. So the sample was hard to apply. I was really close to returning the full product but I noticed that my make up stayed on better and that my skin appeared smoother (less visible pores). The tube is easier for application, since you can dot it on your face in controlled quantities and then pat into the skin. A little goes a long way.
I originally thought I could use fewer products since the BB cream is supposed to be an all-in-one (moisturizer, sun screen, primer, color). But I still follow my normal routine: wash, tone, serum and moisturize. I have inserted the BB Cream application here instead of primer, then I follow up with my normal make up routine: Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation. I am using less product (but not fewer). I get really good base coverage from the BB cream; I've even stopped using concealer. I also notice that my made up face stays fresh longer, and my T-zone is not as oily.
At 47, I don't think I can get away with just using the BB cream. For those with younger skin, I think you can get away with using this product in place of tinted moisturizer, sun screen and/or foundation.
