MAC Nordstrom Now Eyeshadow Palette

Nice packaging and nice colors, however the quality of these shadows are not as good as the individually sold shadows. I've found that MAC has a tendency to have underperforming shadows in their palettes most of the time. I don't know if it's a way to make up for the lesser price, or an issue of manufacturing, but it's just disappointing. The shadows/powder are stiff, chunky, weakly pigmented and underwhelming. I will be returning this. Even the discount of buying it as a palette isn't worth the poor quality.

I ordered this palette and wanted to love it. The price is great for Mac shadows. Unfortunately I am sending it back. They look beautiful in the palette. MAC always has high-quality, super pigmented shadows. These were chalky, not blend able, not pigmented. After receiving the Becca x Jaclyn Hill palette in the same day, the quality just doesn't compare. Sad that I'm disappointed with it.

Ok so to start off this IS a beautiful palette! The shades selection is great, they are pigmented, long wearing, you get a good selection of matte and shimmers, its a lovely palette. The only problem I have with it is it is the EXACT same thing as the Nordstrom's Finest palette that came out last Spring. I did an online chat with a MUA to verify this! I noticed it seemed familiar so I got out my Nordstrom's Finest and checked and they are the same! So if you already purchased that one you might not want to buy this, you might not need it. I collect MAC palettes so I bought it as soon as it came out, then I noticed its a duplicate. I wish this had been disclosed, I still probably would have purchased it, but imagine someone is on a super tight budget? MAC also just re released the MACnificent Me palette and called it Dusky Rose, the small 9 pan palette. Again nothing wrong with this but disclose it please! I found out because I own both now as well. So IF you missed out on Nordies Finest you are in luck because you have a second chance! And the palette is just as nice, same shades, same quality which is excellent, it is a great value also since it went through a price reduction. IF you already purchased that one though you may want to pass on this one. As I mentioned it is a beautiful palette, the shade selection is wonderful, the shadows are super pigmented, tightly packed into their pans so very little fall out occurs, they wear well, blend well, last all day, it is WELL worth the price, great investment and a fabulous gift. This would be great if you have a teen aged daughter just getting into make up, this will give her a great variety to learn with and you won't be buying her more eye shadow for a while since it lasts. But it is the same as Nordstrom's Finest if you already bought that one.

This is my first time reviewing a product. The Nordstrom Now palette is beautiful. I was afraid that some of the colors would be to cool for my warm coloring but the colors are neutral, soft and blend able. I already have the Nordstrom's Finest palette and the eye shadow colors in the Now palette are very different. They are not similar at all. The Now palette has some peaches and both warm and cool neutral browns and greys with one dark purple and black color. I'm very happy with my purchase

Very disappointed in the quality of this palette, the eyeshadows are not of the usual intensity of pigment and excellent coverage and blendibility one expects when purchasing MAC. I was very excited when I bought this palette because it contained the limited edition "Goldbit" that I've nearly run out of - and I was very disappointed when I tested the Nordstrom Now version - it does not compare.
