Smooth finish with or without foundation
Leaves a lovely., smooth finish on my 59-year-old face. Very helpful since I use little foundation (usually mixed with moisturizer or applied with a wet brush). I also use this a layer before my lightly tinted sunscreen. Even used alone without foundation, this lotion looks natural with no flush of minerals or chalkiness. The mineral base to this product helps keep my skin hydrated all day.

pass - not a good primer
The bottle broke - but most importantly my foundation slips and slides - definitely wouldn’t recommend

Favorite Face Lotion/Primer
I hope that MAC never discontinues this lotion. When I first tried it, at the suggestion of the make-up artist at the MAC counter, I was super skeptical that it would be as awesome as she suggested. Yep. She was right. It minimizes lines an pores and makes a difference in how old I look. It also causes my make-up to last longer and to look smoother.

I love this lotion. It is light, never feels oily on my skin. I use it everyday. My first bottle lasted about 60 or so days using it almost everyday. My makeup went on smoother and lasted all day. Thank you for another quality product.

Double-duty primer
I was looking for a primer that would not leave my skin feeling dry, tight and powdery looking. This primer from Mac manages to moisturize my normal to dry skin while providing subtle foundation coverage. There is no color to the product, but I have used it many days as my only foundation product and loved the way my skin felt and looked. Underneath my regular foundation, I found that my makeup lasted much longer than normal (even in deep South humidity) and still looked great at the end of the day.

this cream is so smooth it feels like silk a very radiant feeling no perfume smell just perfect. my makeup looks so great after putting it on my skin. especially if you use the BB cream from Mac this product it's a must have I'm so happy Mac came up with this product I definitely will buy again use it until they come up with something else better.
