What it is: A pressed powder eyeshadow that provides rich, saturated color in an even, easy-to-blend, long-lasting formula.

What it does: Behold the power of the pigment. The MAC Eyeshadow is a super-smooth and rich highly pigmented pressed formula that delivers high color payoff with a single swipe. It's long lasting and can be used wet or dry. This saturated shadow formula stays on all day long and delivers noncreasing, eight-hour wear. A potent color payoff that applies evenly and blends well. Available in a kaleidoscope of colors, textures and finishes.

How to use: Can be used wet or dry. Prime eyes First, prime eyes with a primer for added color intensity. Apply eyeshadow over eye area (eyelids and creases) with a brush, using a pressing motion to build colour for a bolder look. Apply eyeshadow over eye area with a brush, using a circular motion to blend color for a diffused look.

Naked Lunch - The Holy Grail

Color: Naked Lunch - Finally my search for the perfect neutral shade is over. It is a very pretty beige that brightens my eyes, can be worn alone for a natural daytime look or as base. I can wear it over the entire eye, lid to brow. It’s slightly shimmery but not overly so. I’m in my late 40’s and have been told to stay away from shimmer, but I find matte shades way too dull. I’m fair skinned but I think this shade would work with a lot of skin tones and a wide age range. Hope it never gets discontinued. Also bought Stila’s kitten which is much more sparkly but pretty in the corner or lid for an added pop for when I’m dressed up. Nordstrom - please, please add a feature to sort reviews for make-up by color. Many reviewers forget to list the color and it’s useless to read a glowing review when you have no idea what color the reviewer is praising.

Nylon eyeshadow is FROST not MATTE

WHY oh why does this say matte eyeshadow when it is frost? So disappointed with the misinformation on the website. "Nylon" is not a MATTE eyeshadow it is a FROST eyeshadow

Eyebrows

This is the only color I use on my eyebrows. Occasionally I will apply to eye lids to avoid the greasy look. I am dark brown skinned and the color blends well with my skin tone. Sometimes I can apply to strong and look Frieda like, but when applied lightly, it's magic.

Talc is the first ingredient

I was disappointed to find out that Talc is the first ingredient. The list of ingredients are not posted on Nordstrom's listing, so I'm writing here in case someone else is interested. Regardless, I'm not really impressed with these eyeshadows. I don't think they last particularly long, even with an eye base/primer.

New woman!!

Well, I feel like a new woman. Went to the store during Anniversary Sale and decided to take the time, sit down and let a MAC artist do my makeup. I usually use the higher end, older ladies line, but found I was looking sooooo boring! Not that I wanted any neon colors, but here's what she did. No more eye liner pencils!! She used Sweet Lust all over the lid with Humid in the lash line as a smudged liner. Beautiful!! Then we tried Jest all over with Deep Truth in the last line. Beautiful again!! Then we tried Yogurt all over and Nocturnelle as the liner. All three combinations were a success, so of course, I bought all three. I have light to medium skin with hazel eyes. All the makeup artists were using that "shadow in the crease" which was only making my eyes look smaller. I'm forever grateful to MAC for making me feel beautiful again! I learned so much on this visit. Oh yeah, keep the lip more nude with Taupe or Touch.
