MAC Conceal & Correct Palette

I bought medium and I like it. My skin is full of imperfections and I have a very low self-esteem. But when I use this product, it covers all my imperfections and I have a lot of confidence.

The color correction is wonderful. I'm in my 40s with minor wrinkles around my eyes, I just can't get this to sit in place for more than an hour!! I tried three different primers and two different eye cream; nothing works. I'm on the search for color corrector again!

I have a Mac NC42 skintone and purchased the dark palette to utilize the orange shade for my hyperpigmentation, grey tones on my chin and dark circles. The rust shade in the 1 palette up had an orange that I felt was too deep on me. I think a custom combo of both palettes would be ideal for me; I use some of the deeper shades in this palette for countouring. The formula blends well upon warming up, and sits well on skin prior to adding foundation. Worth having in your kit!

It's not easy to find a pallet like this anymore. MAC is the OG when it comes to pigments and colors and this palette is no exception. I typically use a liquid concealer day-to-day, but found that as I age my brown melasma spots aren't being covered with typical concealers (Teint Idole, etc) that use a doe foot applicator. The formula in this palette is extremely creamy and pigmented and I recommend using it with a brush meant for pinpointing, not a big or flat brush. I apply with a pinpoint and then use my finger to blend. I use many of the colors on the corrector side depending on if I'm working on my forehead or under eyes, and I have used the concealer side as well. The selection of shades is perfect for my skin tone (medium-light neutral) as the lightest will work in the winter and the darkest in the summer and the midtones will work anytime. It is very creamy and it does need to be set with something in order to stay in place. I am mid-50s and I use it under my eyes and it does not crease as long as I don't apply it to heavily. Setting this product with a light powder and a small brush is imperative. I think this product is underrated and should be in your arsenal as a basic. Plenty of product it'll last a long time.

I purchased this to help correct the purple hue that is beginning to show under my eyes. It enables me to layer and hide the purple.
