What it is: A lightweight, whipped formula that adds dense volume, extends length and creates curl while conditioning for softness and flexibility.
What it does: Its gigantic, moulded brush stores the optimal amount of mascara in three reservoirs that allow for maximum impact of mascara with each stroke, while keeping the lashes from clumping together. The tip of the brush allows for precision in accentuating your lower lashes and the small hairs at the corners of your eye. The formula increases length by 35%, increases volume by 98% and increases curl by 99% while separating. The final result is extreme dimension that won't smudge, clump or flake.
How to use: Press the brush into your lashes close to your roots and shimmy the brush through from root to tip. Repeat until the desired effect is achieved.

Glamorous lashes
I would say this is the best mascara I have ever used. It lengthens, volumizes, defines, curls and does not clump. I had no problem with smudging either. I love it!

one lonely star...
I really wanted to LOVE this mascara from all the great reviews I read, but it just wasn't good at all. My 2 biggest complaints are that it flakes off throughout the day and pieces end up in my eye and corners of eyes which really bothered me, and second I hard the hardest time getting it off at night. I've tried a lot of mascara's and this one is just not worth it.

Good but nothing exceptional
What does it add? I have been using M•A•C 'In Extreme Dimension Lash' Mascara for about a week. It's good. It adds some volume, difinition, and length. With the recommendation I received, I expected more definition, more length and more volume. It's good, but not exceptional in these areas.
It does deliver. There is NO SMUDGE. This is incredible for me. I struggle to keep my eye makeup where it belongs. Usually, I dicover rings around my eyes; it's mascara residue, but with M•A•C 'In Extreme Dimension Lash' Mascara, there is nothing on my skin. Throughout the whole day with not touch ups, the lashes stay. ABSOLUTELY, NO SMUDGE!

Sample Misleading
The sample,like others mentioned, is great. The actual full size product is not so good. It gets caked up between the bristles and my hugest problem with it is that runs. I recently got a sample of Lorac Pro + Fiber and it has been my go too. Now I'm just trying to run out the rest of this Mac mascara. I actually been going on top of the Mac with the Lorac and it kind of helps with thickness and volume and making it less flaky. The Lorac by itself is more natural looking but the best part is that it doesn't flake or run after wearing it all day. Won't be buying Mac mascara again.

Worked pretty well
This mascara worked pretty well. I liked how it separated and defined the lashes and it covered well but didn't seem to give the volume or length I like. I like the MAC Haute & Naughty much better.

Great Mascara
I was looking for a mascara that would make my lashes really show. I had tried several brands that really didn't do what they claimed but this is a keeper. I will definitely recommend this.

does what it says
my favorite mascara right now. Does what it says: adds volume, length and curl. It isn't waterproof but I haven't had any smudging. I have short, sparse eyelashes and this is the best mascara I've found.
