What it does: This gel liner provides the precision of a liquid liner with a silkier, softer, ultrasmooth finish. This colourful gel liner goes on with a brush in an easy dip-and-stroke action. The long-wearing, waterproof gel liner wears for up to 16 hours and is smudge-resistant. Lines up in a rich array of colors and finishes. Brush sold separately.
How to use: Line your lashes using an eyeliner brush or angled brow brush. For the slickest winged eyeliner, apply to your lashline with a brush. Starting at the inner corner of your eye, gradually build color across your eyelid then flick the brush at the outer corner of your eye for a simple graphic liner look.

Does not budge...
This is truly a miracle product if you have oily skin. I am completely unable to use a conventional pencil liner or anything waxy. MAC Fluidline, on the other hand, lasts all day. Once you apply it, you need to let it dry for about 30 seconds before applying your shadow or it will smudge. It may take some application practice if you're used to a pencil. Another thing I love about this is it's very easy to paint on a thin or thick line, draw a precise wing-eye, etc. I use this with the 210 Precise Eye Liner brush. I have both Blacktrack and Macroviolet (great for green eyes).

Sorry
After all the glowing reviews, I thought I had a winner.
I can only speak to one shade, the macro-violet. It has
very little pigment, went on unevenly, and didn't perform
nearly as well as other gel eyeliners I've tried. Very
disappointed.

Love this eyeliner !
Lasts all day. Doesn’t budge. I am a professional painter and through a tough day at work this eyeliner stays put! I used only Bobbi Brown long wear eyeliner for years... decided to try Mac when Bobbi had none available in my favorite color. Sorry Bobbi MAC is my new favorite.

The best eyeline ever
I've been a fan of this product for years, and while I use it every day I'm not even close to be through one jar. This stays on all day, and is really versitile-I usually use it to get a liquid winged eyeliner effect, but I've also been able to make it look like a smudgey pencil liner. You can cover your whole lid with this and use it as a base as well, or you could even do a smokey eye with it! I would reccomend layering other shadows on top for an interesting effect. This is my go to mac product!

Love it
I just bought this in the color LOWLIGHTS and love it. It is a dark coffee brown with a slight shimmer. Lasts throughout the day and is really smooth. This color is in between DIPDOWN (basic brown no shimmer) and BLACKTRACK (jet black flat.) With these liners make sure to keep the lid tight or they dry up very quickly.

GREAT Liner
If you want a great line that lasts all day, this is the liner for you!! I have this in 4 colors but the black could be a bit harsh. Blitz and Glitz is a dark grey that gives the appearance of a black liner but much softer. I have fair skin and blue eyes and the grey color is much better. I use this with the Mac liner brush and rarely make a mistake! It's also smoother than a pencil and glides right on without pulling the lid. Love this liner!!

best gel liner!
Beautiful application and staying power. I like that I can use a liner brush to apply this, I feel like I have better control over how thick my lines are. I’ve used this for many years and will always buy this again and again.
