Teddy - my Fave MAC Kohl
I currently have MAC's Kohl in both the Teddy and Smolder shades but find I reach for Teddy much more often. The color is a gorgeous chocolate brown/bronze which although quite bold and intense, is not as harsh as 'Feline' - an intense black which I now hardly ever use. There is a slight red tone in here and a subtle gold shimmer which is what I feel 'lifts' it from being otherwise just another plain brown into something much bigger and better. It's great for a brown smoky eye look and also as a waterline liner, being creamy yet highly pigmented, applying smoothly and lasting a moderate amount of time. Considering I purchased this back in 2018, it's lasted me well, although that's partly down to me alternating between the two shades. My only slight criticism is that I don't find MAC's liners the easiest to sharpen and nor do they stay sharp for long, meaning frequent sharpening is involved. Still, it's a small price to pay for such a versatile color which works well with almost every eyeshadow shade in my collection. Not very impressed
I usually love every product I buy from MAC but I was not very impressed with this eye kohl. I purchased the color Costa Riche, which is stunning! I have hazel/brown-ish eyes and this color is so beautiful. I have heard so many people rave about this color so I finally bought it. The eye kohl smudges so badly that I look terrible after less than an hour of wear. I use mac paint pot as a base for my eye shadows and eye liner and I never have a problem with smudging with any other eyeliners I use. I do not put eyeliner on my waterline, only on my lash line, so it shouldn't be smudging. I was so disappointed that this product doesn't stay put. I will most likely be sending this item back even though I love the color. It seems pointless to keep a product that is unusable.

THE ONLY EYE LINER YOU'LL EVER NEED!
I purchased this in 'smolder' and it is by far the darkest, longest lasting eye liner I've ever used. It applies smoothly in a matte finish. I've gotten three (3) so far and the quality is consistent. Also, unlike other eye liner types, this pencil doesn't run out quickly... so keep it sharpened!

Disappointed
Disappointed. When MAC discontinued my regular eyeliner I decided to try this one. Too creamy, smears and clumps. It doesn't sharpen to a good thin point because of the softness of the liner. Won't buy again.

SMEARED, SMUDGED AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY. I exchanged this for another pencil. Kohl smudged beneath my eye, on my eyelid.
