What it is: A limited-edition lipstick in new hues and three textures.

What it does: M·A·C celebrates the late queen of R&B, Aaliyah, with a new collection of hues. This lipstick is the same formula that made the brand famous. It comes presented in metallic burgundy packaging with Aaliyah's signature in silver.

Finishes:
- F: Frost. Excellent color payoff with medium-to-high frosted shimmer-and-shine finish.
- A: Amplified Creme. An ultra-creamy, quietly shiny finish that is high-impact and high-res.
- M: Matte. Pigment-rich with intense color payoff and a no-shine, all-matte finish.

How to use: Swipe onto lips directly from the bullet, or use a lip brush for greater precision.

Awesome color

So glad I purchased this item especially since it was a limited addition item,and it has since sold out. It is very moisturizing, stays on. In my opinion the picture displayed online as a "red" but the color is actually a deep red in color and not a bright red. I have really enjoyed this product. Really wish Mac would think of doing another "limited edition" for Aaliyah what a way to honor her since this was her signature color.

I Don't Love It

Kind of disappointed... took a chance despite some of the reviews. It's not flattering and applies really blotchy. The lipstick looks and feels really cheap!

Beautiful Color

I love this color! It is dark, rich and so beautiful! I am kind of light skinned, and it still looks good on me! I'd say it's a very versatile color!

FAIR ENOUGH

First and foremost i would have prefer this product in matte, it is a bit too oily for my lip and would need to blend it with something that will matte it, though i have long to own this particular shade which i will call a deep wine or maroon and it is moisturising in a way.

Aaliyah 4 Ever

This lipstick “hot like fire” was in tribute to the beautiful singer Aaliyah who passed in year 2001. She always had a bold red lip in her performances while on camera and had a song hit called “Hot Like Fire”. This lipstick definitely matched the beautiful singer’s red lipstick style! It’s a smooth matte texture and the color is gorge. One of my favorite makeup purchases by far!
