great tool
I recently bought a new concealer in a jar. In the past, I've usually applied concealers with my fingers. A rep recommended using a brush, and after looking at the different shapes/brands, I decided on this one. Coverage is much more even using this brush than when I applied it with my fingers or a cotton swab. The contours of the bristles makes it easy to reach all areas around my eyes smoothly. I can't believe I never used a brush all these years, since there is a difference.

Please bring back 194
I don't understand why MAC sells the 195 but not the 194 anymore. The 194 was EXCELLENT. I returned the 195 because it has too many bristles that are uniform and it does not work with dark spots (large or small). I returned it. I've tried many other concealer brushes for years from other companies, but I just keep using my old mac 194 brushes which are tattered , old, and squishy. They are STILL better than the 195. The 195 does not cover dark spots naturally because the bristles are too soft and do not hold concealer (i use mac studio fix concealer). THe 195 grabs too much product. It is dense so it doesn't go on face with precision. It smudges product around on face in a thick way. Does not look natural and does not cover . The brush makes the concealer thin out and does not grab onto the product. More of the concealer ends up on the brush than it does on the face. PLEASE please bring back the 194. I will buy them all. I tried the Special Edition 194SE because I couldn't find the 194 but they were not the same either.

sturdy but too big
The concealer brush is too wide for detailed work and it is terrible at blending. But it can deposit product well for huge areas.
You can try cream eyeshadow brushes instead for depositing, or MAC 217 for blending

best concealer brush
I've only had this for a few months so I can't speak to its longevity, but it is, by far, the best concealer brush I've owned, better than Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier. Works great with the Pro Long Wear Concealer by MAC, another surprising, excellent product.

I finally found the perfect brush to carefully place my under eye concealer. It works with precision and fits those little crevices so well. I’m loyal to Mac forever!

Multi-functional Brush
I'm so glad I finally caved in and bought this brush. It has the perfect tapered cut for shaping eyebrows, touching up concealer, and for contouring those hard-to-reach spaces, like the nose area. My only regret is that I waited too long to buy it! Highly recommend it.
