What it is: A flat, paddle-shaped, pro-quality foundation brush that creates a smooth, even finish and hugs small crevices for flawless coverage.

What it does: This fan-favorite MAC 190S Brush has a flat shape with smooth but firm fibres that flawlessly apply liquid, cream or gel formulas all over face, with beveled edges that hug small crevices. Use the MAC 190S Foundation Brush to apply, distribute and blend foundation by sweeping, patting or pressing thin layers onto skin until your desired coverage is achieved. The result is a smooth, even finish for a flawless look. MAC professional brushes are hand-sculpted and assembled using the finest-quality materials. MAC's 100% vegan synthetic brushes incorporate the latest innovations in fibre technology for superior performance and improved longevity.

How to use: Use the foundation brush by either sweeping, pressing or patting foundation onto skin.
Caring Tips: Proper care will maintain the integrity and quality of the bristles so they continue to deliver perfectly consistent results over time. Daily Care: Clean brushes using a soft cloth or a towel dampened with MAC Brush Cleanser. Gently wipe brush head over the cloth until all makeup has been removed. Weekly Care: Wash brushes using MAC Brush Cleanser and warm water. Wet the head, making sure the brush head is pointed downward to prevent water from seeping into the barrel, as you gently massage the fibres lightly with your fingers – working toward the tip. Rinse well. Carefully squeeze excess water from the brush head, wipe on a soft towel and gently arrange fibres back into their original shape. Lay flat on a fresh towel and allow brush to dry naturally. Do not stand up or use until completely dry.

makes a huge, beautiful difference

This brush makes a huge, beautiful difference when applying liquid foundation. At first I thought this brush would just be a luxury item but now know it is definitely essential. Previously, I used fingers and sponges to apply foundation but never again. The smoothness and efficiency of the brush's makeup spplication is markedly superior. Additionally, there is no pressure drag on the skin's surface as with using fingers and sponges. The brush is an essential and exemplary beauty tool. I wish I had known about it years previously.

Not up to expectations

For years I wanted to use this foundation but I've never been able to afford it. I finally took the plunge and treat myself to some.i did the online colour match by saying what foundation I currently use and was send a suggest shade that would match. Unfortunately it was too light. I've had people commenting on me looking pale and Ill unfortunately, I've left it to late to return the item so I'm stuck with it. It also goes on very cakey and never seems to set, so when I touch my face it leaves marks. Very disappointing. I'll stick to my Boots no7

This brush makes a huge, beautiful difference when applying liquid foundation. At first I thought this brush would just be a luxury item but now know it is definitely essential. A MUST HAVE!!!

I use various makeup products but I have to say that regarding brushes MAC's is my favorite. This brush is the best and is worth to spend some money. This particular one does not leave streaks, doesn't shred and provides a great coverage with much less foundation because is made of synthetic fiber. I currently use Double Wear from Estee Lauder for maximum coverage and YSL Top secrets All in one - BB skintone corrector for the glowing effect. For the PERFECT finish, I buff the foundation with the MAC 130.

Foundation Brush Experiment

I had never used a thin foundation brush before, so I decided to try this one. Honestly, I had to watch several online videos to learn how to properly use this type of brush. I think it is a great tool to add to my brush collection, but not my go to every day choice for my foundation application. Technique takes some trial and error, but on the plus side I'm getting great coverage using less foundation.

Average quality made in USA

I returned this brush without using it, but based on the fact that it does not match my other MAC brushes in quality nor in details I don't think I would like it. The bristles are quite thick and though they seem soft, I think the brush is likely to streak in application of foundation. The brush itself is made in the USA, but the handle is a flat black and is much lighter in weight than the other MAC brushes I have with metallic black handles, which are made in Japan by a premium brush maker with experience in making traditional calligraphy and specialized brushes of top quality. The USA-made brushes that are replacing the whole MAC brush line are inferior, and the even more new version have handles barely attached to the ferrules. Wow, I guess I'm all done with ever collecting any more MAC brushes. This one is in the in-between quality: not as good at past but not as bad as the most recent versions of MAC brushes.

Doesn't do it job

The quality of the brush is good, soft & pretty but it left lines after applied foundation on my face. I really don't like it

so soft

I love mac brushes, but was told that i did not need a a full coverage brush for my skin, but i just love the way it feel so i went ahead and got it anyway, the coverage is great, and it works with any foundation.
