Whitney Bell Sleeve Woven Shift Dress

I LOVED this dress- but after I washed it the first time (even let it air dry) it shrunk length wise so much I can't wear it anymore. So disappointed

Love this dress. I was looking for a transitional dress for summer to fall/winter (it says way too warm for way too long here in Texas) and this dress checks all the boxes. It is very thin, but the pattern on mine prevents it from looking too 'see-through.' This dress does run a little large-- I sized down as a petite gal, in hopes of not being swallowed by extra fabric. For reference, I'm 5'1'', 120 lbs and the XS fits beautifully, though I normally wear size S in Lush tops. At my height, the dress hits just above the knee in the front and tapers longer in the back. Go for it and get ready to feel beautiful!

I am giving a 2 stars because I loved this dress fit perfect, true to size , very comfortable, longer in the back the sleeves were perfect size for me, but the label had no cleaning instructions so I washed it in the machine and shrank like crazy, so upset because I really loved it . please fix the label to show dry clean only. I read the description in the website after the fact because I bought the dress in store.

I purchased this dress in three colours, absolutely loved the fit and the look! But sadly, after one wash, and max two wears (cold water, hang dry) on all three dresses worn looking tears appeared under the arms and at the back seam of the dress. They also shrunk terribly (length wise mostly) after the one wash, and they didn't go near the dryer!! Sadly I had to return them, but the staff at Nordstrom Ottawa were incredibly understanding, and like always amazingly helpful and sweet. Better luck next time! :)

This dress is unlined, so any light means everyone can see right through your legs! I returned it because I dont own a slip to wear under it. The fabric looks really cheap.

I ordered the burgundy color and it arrived terribly wrinkled. When I put it on it was completely shapeless...and very sheer! So sheer I would have been nervous to try to iron out the wrinkles. It's going back for sure. Nothing could have helped it, the fabric feels cheap. I ordered a different style of Lush shift in a different fabric and hope it works out better for the fall wedding I am attending. I wanted to love this dress. I love Lush and live in their tunics. But this dress was not good.
