Washable Silk Tee Short Pajamas

So I finally decided to review these, because even after owning two pairs of these pj’s, there are some things I’m still not crazy about. First of all let me say the fabric is AMAZING, and if you take care of them like instructed, they will last and stay luxurious. The top is oversized and really roomy, which is great for sleep. My only issue is the shorts. I want to love these so bad, but the sad reality is that if you have any curves in your hips and butt, these shorts are just cut super awkward. I’m a fit 6-10 depending on the brand and in these, I’ve been a solid medium. Do the shorts fit? Yes. But they just look so strange proportionally. I have hips and a butt and typically love high waisted shorts, but these just end up riding up. I think the rubber on the inside of the waste band is a great idea, but for it to be functional, you need a thicker waist band. That or either have stretchy elastic all the way around, instead of the weird flat section in the front. Like I said, the fabric is gorgeous and super buttery and I will probably buy another set simply because of that. But I had to write an honest review because, I realized that all the 5 star reviews were from women that are a size XS or S, which I’m sure the shorts fit beautifully. But if you are a curvy girl or you have any type of volume around your hips, butt or even stomach, these shorts are likely going to be an issue for you.

Soo wanted this to work. Husband purchased for Valentine’s, to justify cost. Ordered a small. Got my daughter to try on because I was going to work. She is a 4 at Lululemon and could make anything look good. It was awful! The top is sooo huge over powering the tap panty I call them. Definitely high wasted and if you don’t the crotch is at your knees. Just sooo sloppy. Nothing you would want to chill with your girlfriends and have wine in. Too bad because I was going to get the silk housecoat as well. Soo hard to find cute luxury pj’s. !?

I have purchased 6 or 7 pairs of these pajamas directly through Lunya, they feel amazing but they Do NOT last. They fall apart after 3-4 months, for the price I expect more

Out of the bag, these look and feel fabulous. Soft and so silky! Enjoy the moment because that’s the last time they’ll ever be like that. After that they become a crinkly stiff mess. I hung in my shower regularly, and I even bought a steamer to try and bring them back to life—found myself steaming my pajamas before bed like a crazy person over here. Overall the style is pretty, but man it was way too much effort to slip into bed at night.

I am so happy Nordstrom is carrying Lunya now! This is my second washable silk set from Lunya. Their sets are so worth it! I have had my 1st set for over 2 years and the quality is amazing. You will not want to sleep in anything else! For this set- the t shirt is very oversized!! Although oversized, it still looks chic. The shorts were way more flattering than I thought they were going to be. I am in between a small / medium in most clothing and I opted for the Medium in this set. A small could’ve worked as well but I think would look similar because as I said this particular set has an oversized look. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to these and I promise you will not regret it!!

I bought this in black size small. I’m 5’5 and 150lbs. It fit perfectly. It’s oversized on purpose. It’s like butter when I sleep and to lounge around in. Waiting for this to come back in gray.
