Luna Rossa Carbon Eau de Parfum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prada Luna Rosa Carbon Eau de Parfum is a clean modern scent that feels both fresh and rugged. It opens with bright citrus and lavender, than has a smooth mix of mineral notes and warm woods. It’s easy to wear, can be warm day or night,and has a quietly confident vibe. If you like fresh scents with a bit of depth, this one delivers without trying too hard. My wife loves the scent and I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my first impression of spraying Prada Luna Rossa Carbon EDP, I did not react in the most positive manner towards it. At first, I had really high hopes for this fragrance since I really enjoyed the original EDT, but this one was far from it. The first spray smelled like any old generic designer fragrance that was not impressive to me whatsoever. Then, the next morning I came into the kitchen and could still smell the incredibly overwhelming powder note that the scent carried. My mother was very repulsed by this fragrance and said she did not even want it to be in the house. (I am a fragrance collector and rarely get that reaction from any scent I own.) I attempted to give it another try this morning and sprayed it on skin and it was slightly more pleasant with some warm spicy notes, but then almost instantaneously, that mature, aged powder essence overcame it all. Still smelling it now on my wrist after attempting to wash it off, it is equivalent of a fragrance you could purchase at a dollar store. This fragrance will not be worn in my rotation.
