Chiffon Halter Gown

True to size, I'm 5'6" 32 bust 24 waist 34 hips and the XS fits perfectly, will not need to be altered as long as I wear medium heels. The color Dusty Violet looks a little more vibrant in the photo provided on the website, but in real life it is definitely the desired dusty color. It is light weight and breathable and will be nice for a formal summer wedding with definite potential for re-use (yay! thank you to the bride for choosing something I can wear after the wedding)

I ordered this dress in Mauve and although the color and style is beautiful, the fit runs small. The middle band doesn't sit well on the hips. Even with a bit of adjusting, the pleats of the bust is a bit overwhelming and makes a busty women look even bustier. In my opinion, this style is meant for someone who is tall, slim and not busty.

I am a size 10 and ordered a large, it easily zipped and fit well. The sizing guidelines online say the large is a 6-8, but it's at least an 8-10, if not a 10-12. The top is very pretty and adjusts well to any height. It was the most flattering top of any dress I tried on. However, the skirt is less flattering. You can see in the picture that the first 3 or 4 inches of the skirt are straight down, then the the pleats/flowy material start. This dress does not conceal my post baby hips as much as I had hoped. I returned it because I get to choose my own bridesmaid dress and I think I can do better for my body type. But it really is a decent dress and would work on a variety of body types, I've worn far less flattering bridesmaid dresses. Be aware that the navy color does have hints of purple in it.

I️ order this dress in mauve for my maternity shoot. The color and dress was beautiful and even more beautiful when I️ put it on. The number compliment I️ received was the color was beautiful. I have to find another opportunity to wear this dress. Also this dress would be perfect for a bridal party.
