Lug Sole Loafer Mule

I love how these mules look. However, they are so stiff and very hard to break in. I have blisters on the tops of my foot and middle toes. I just don’t think I can bear to wear them anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So easy to just slip on and go. These shoes dress up a casual outfit immediately. TTS for the most part, toe box doesn't get too tight because of the open-back nature of the shoe. Only thing is that the shoes are on the heavy side so can be tiring to wear for longer periods of time.

The sole liner has separated from the shoes, which makes it hard for me to wear them without my feet slipping all over. The material on the top looks ridden hard and put up wet. I am so disappointed in these shoes and in the quality coming from Madewell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved these shoes the second I put them on! They can be used to dress up or down. I got my usual size, a 9. Some reviews suggested going up a size since they're slip on, but I found that the loafers are true to size and my foot doesn't feel like it's falling out. I live in NYC (which means my shoes have to be durable for a lot of walking), and these did give me a few blisters. But after that first day, they're broken in and have been perfect.
