Lucy Buckle Strap Sandal (Women)

This would have been the perfect throw on and go summer slide however the shoe runs very wide. Even after adjusting the buckle to the smallest setting the shoe was still too wide. I have an average width foot, not too wide and not too narrow. I wanted to love them but after a few wears they’ll probably stretch even wider.

I purchased the Lucy Buckle Strap Sandal in a size 5, brown. I absolutely loved the color and quality of the sandal, not to mention the style. The leahrer is high quality and the buckle really is stunning! As is most common with "slide" type sandals, they stretch out as you wear them and your foot starts to slide to the front of the shoe and out. Anticipating this I ordered down a size down from my regular 5.5. The length of the shoe for a size 5 fit, however the strap extending over my arch had to be moved to the tightest hole and was still too loose. The foot bed was also very large (toe box area). I could fit two fingers down the inside of the side toe-box area. If you have wide feet, this is the sandal for you. Not for me. I have to return them with no option to order a smaller size- I'm at the bottom of the size pool!
