Nice bootie.
I wear 8.5 and went with 9 (boots usually go half size up). With socks or without is comfortable. I also got beige 8.5 and with sock was tight (good without) i could stretch tho. The beige color was greenish and it wasn't good for me, also the shaft was limp and black version was staying up. I have average legs not too skinny, and didn't have to unzip the zipper. They are a bit slouchy. Height was perfect for me, very comfortable.

Disappointment
SInce there were no reviews on these boots, other than an influencer's recommendation, I opted to order up a half size to be on the safe side. (I normally wear an 8, but ordered an 8 1/2) These are really cute boots, but the right boot (with no-show sock) was tight, but I could hardly get the left boot on(with no-show sock). Wondering if I got a defective left boot, but just sent them back. If I were to reorder I would not know whether to try a 9 or a 9 1/2.

Slouchy Boot
I was really looking forward to receiving these boots and was disappointed when these arrived. The boot material is very thin and slouched down. The photo on the Nordstrom site did did show that. Also, one side slouched down further than the other so they looked different heights. Not sure why one side fell down/slouched more..my calves are not different sizes. Last as other reviewers have stated, the boot itself is tight on the foot. I am a true size 8.5 in most all shoes consistently, and ordered the 8.5 and it was very tight without socks. So if you're looking for a slouchy boot order a half size up. These are unfortunately going back.

slouchy
The color is as shown in the picture. The boots are slouchy in the shaft which isn’t shown in the photos, but very tight in the heel/toe. I recommend sizing up a 1/2 size.

Different than picture
These are beautiful boots, especially the tan color. However, they run small. I would size up at least 1/2 size. Also, these boots are slouchy - not straight up like the picture shows. If I wanted a slouchy boot I would definitely reorder in a larger size because they are gorgeous. Lucky/Nordstrom needs to add a more acccurate photo.

Nice boot but size up
They are adorable. Heel not too high but not short. They do bunch BUT that was the look I was going for to wear with a dress. Not sure how they’d work with jeans since you slide them on and then zip part of the side. Order up for sure and they are narrow! I am going to need to stretch them to wear for sure. But I love the look and they were on sale so…..

Runs narrow and small!
I was so excited to get these boots. I can say these are probably the most uncomfortable boots I’ve ever tried on. I loved the look of them out of the box. As soon as I tried to slip them on I knew I was in trouble. They are both too small and very narrow. I also agree with other reviews that they end up slouching once you put them on. I wanted an under the knee boot that looked polished. These are too small and don’t stay up. What a bummer.
