Lucas Sneaker (Men)

When these shoes arrived I thought they looked great, but felt a little cheap on the inside. After two weeks wearing them, I decided to give up and buy something else to replace them. The interior material steel feels cheap and plasticky. I would guess it is some kind of "vegan" leather replacement, it makes my feet feel hot and it has too much grip. I get blisters if I walk too far in these. They have not broken in over time and use.

I really want to like these shoes, they’re look pretty good (a bit bulky) and comfortable underfoot, but the tongue always bunch at the base and makes them uncomfortable on the top of the foot. I tried lacing to keep the tongue up, tried wide vs regular, I even had a cobbler try to sew the tongue so it wouldn’t bunch and nothing has worked. Seems like a solvable design flaw, but sadly not worth wearing shoes that aren’t comfortable.

I was looking for something that was both stylish and comfortable to wear while sight seeing in another country. I thought the promise of arch support would help. Unfortunately, they are lovely shoes but my feet hurt after walking in them for a while. They are good but not excellent in terms of comfort. Wish they had the similar comfort of a running sneaker or a Hoka.
