Modern rose
I love the suede version of this handwash but it was sold out so i tried the rose. I was worried it would smell very floral and chintzy - but it's not at all. By bending the rose note with raspberry Byredo have created a scent that is warm but fresh at the same time. I think it lasts longer on the hands than the suede scent - however to my nose it does lean feminine so probably not as unisex as the suede

Makes hands very dry!
Very nice delicate fragrance, nice packaging but leaves hands very dry. I only had this problem with cheap hand washes. All Beredo's product fragranced nicely but I find purfumes luck longevity and hand wash needs additional work on formulation to make it more hydrating.

I enjoy the smell but not the packaging
I was disappointed that the pump wasn’t separate. I just felt like they could have put anything in there because it wasn’t sealed anywhere. It is so pricey to not be a sealed secure item. Unscrew the top very easily. No seal or plastic covering anywhere. And add to that it looked low, not filled to the top. So I won’t be ordering this product ever again. I’m surprised because this did not meet Nordstroms usual high standards.

Essence of summer
If like me you love the smell of roses, this is definitely the one for you. The first notes remind me of Rose Turkish Delight, but then the fresher notes come through and as other reviewers say it leaves a subtle scent on your hands for hours. I'm really pleased that it doesn't make your hands dry, unlike the Molton Brown that I used to use. Yes it's an indulgence but you need so little and the bottle is large, I'm certain I'll be using it for months to come.

Love this handwash
Pros:
Byredo branding looks amazing in the bathroom! Love how chic and minimal it is.
The smell is nice, a little different and definitely lasts.
The bottle is big which is good for the price and lasts for ages!
Cons: Just that it's a little expensive, but that's the Byredo brand and it definitely lasts!
I wish Byredo did more hand wash fragrances, they only have 3/4 and would be nice to have some new ones released.
