It DOES fit true to size, ignore the directions!
I bought this 1 size up from my regular size (a 6 instead of a 4) per the directions listed here. The 6 was too big and would have fallen down in the ocean. I returned it and checked the website probably 20 times trying to get a size 4, but they were all sold out :( Nordstrom and Ralph Lauren need to figure out their sizing directions AND their quantity ordering.
