Small 'Le Pliage Cuir' Leather Top Handle Tote

I purchased this bag last year in Taupe and absolutely love it!! Don't be put off by its small size either. It can fit a full size iPad along with a wallet, book, makeup case and bottle of water!! Crossbody strap is just long enough. I think mine has actually stretched a little bit over the past year (but that's a good thing because I like my bags to hang a bit longer). Even after the daily use I've put this bag through, the leather still looks awesome!! Taupe goes with everything too and I get a lot of compliments. I would definitely purchase another one and recommend it to all my friends. I am a bag-a-holic and usually purchase several high-end bags a year. After having this bag, I haven't had the need to buy anything else!!

Camel color was lovely. The only positive that I can mention. I was unprepared that although this bag is made to be folded and packed, the leather would be so thin and seemingly "flimsy". I would be necessary to fill this bag up a lot in order for it to have any shape! Definitely a bag one would purchase for travel purposes only! The price point... in my opinion not in keeping with the structure, or lack thereof, of the bag. I do not mind paying for a great bag. This was not one of them.

The photos on nordstrom.com do not do this bag justice. It's the classic, le pliage shape, but in completely smooth, buttery leather. The colors are very rich and saturated - clearly top grade leather. I think it's slightly larger than the normal le pliage small tote, but I'm not sure that it's as big as the medium. The shorter straps are not long enough to put over your shoulder, but the cross body strap (removable) makes this the perfect bag for everyday, travel, or a sportier look. It does fold up into a smaller size (basically into thirds), but it's not compact like the nylon le pliage bags. It's incredibly luxe looking while being a lighter-weight leather bag that holds a surprising amount. This size is definitely the "purse" size and not an overnight bag. They do have one size up for $100 more that is more like a messenger bag or gym bag size. I have it in the bordeaux color and it's a stunning deep, purple-red. NOTE: I feel like the photos suggest that this bag has a sheen to the leather. This is a matte leather that simply has the finish of a regular leather product. Leather is very supple and not at all stiff or patent. You will love this bag.

Wow! I love this bag! I live in a rural area and rarely have a chance to shop in a physical store so I usually rely on reviews to get an idea of what I'm getting into. One reviewer said this bag is flimsy and has no structure and I actually found that I like that about this purse. It is easy to wear and casual cool and the Greige color is spot on. My mom saw mine and is planning to get one of her own.

This is one of my favorite Longchamp bags for everyday. I have many of the regular nylon pliage but this leather version takes the bag up a notch. It is lightweight and easy to carry. Very well-made and for the price, it is a good investment. My only qualm is it is a French company yet the bag is made in China. I do not detect any quality issues but it would have been nice had the inside tag said Made in France. I think at this price point the bag should not be made in China.

Beautiful leather, if you like Le Pilage, this is a nice twist in leather. Purchased black and received royal blue color as a gift. Have had both for several years now and they both still look like new. Both feel great to carry and use. Kid friendly, and love the options of cross body, shoulder or hand-carry. They hold a lot! It's just a nice classic look. The leather is buttery and saturated. In a sea of ever-changing handbag trends, this bag stands out as more of an icon.
