perfect everyday purse
At last, the perfect everyday purse! After much research, I purchased the Longchamp Le Pliage and I absolutely love it! I was looking for a classic plain leather purse that wasn’t too big (I’m 5’3”) could hold a water bottle and an iPad (in addition to wallet, cosmetics pouch and phone) and could be worn as a crossbody. I love the grey color, the quality of the leather and the roominess even though it’s not a large purse. It was not designed to be a crossbody but it’s the perfect crossbody size for my height. Classic!

Quality lacking
I was very surprised when I opened the package; if I had seen it in a store, I never would have purchased it. The leather felt very cheap and it was significantly smaller than the image shown. I returned it and will continue the search for the perfect satchel.

Not a crossbody.
I was literally fighting to get the bag over my head and the hood of my coat. Once I finally got it on as a crossbody, it hung like a sore thumb under my left breast.

The color and soft leather is irresistible.
This is a lovely bag. The color is so beautiful and the leather is so soft. It is constructed to be soft and foldable so there is no strong inner bottom layer to keep it in shape.

Improved with different strap
Love pale pink; it's the perfect light pink. After reading reviews, I wasn't sure I'd like the non-structure on the bottom for fear of it sagging. Not a problem for me. I carry a medium bag of stuff (wallet, makeup, cellphone case, etc.) and only drops slightly on the bottom. It's very soft leather, so I have to store it somewhere away from my kitten.
This is a shoulder bag, not a crossbody. I didn't like the wide strap. It's clunky and just doesn't match the bag. I went to Longchamp's website and found a Leather Shoulder Strap in Pale Pink (item 34167757P53). I didn't want to spend another $170, but it made the bag work for me. It matches the color and dimension/scale of the bag, it also hangs long enough that I can wear it as a crossbody when needed. Very happy.

I use this bag everyday for work. It can fit a lot of stuff including my iPad mini and sunglasses. This bag also folds up the way the nylon Le pliage bags do too.

Perfect Shoulder Bag
The most refreshing color for a bag is Melon. Such a beautiful color! The bag is well-constructed, the leather is soft as "buttah", and the leather strap hangs perfectly and proportionately.
